            Fiber Optic Connectors


           Avalon  connectors  are  manufactured  in  accordance  with  ANSI/TIA/  EIA-604-2 standards. Each connector
           consists of a housing, a crimp sleeve and a strain relief boot. The types of fiber connectors available are FC, LC,
           SC, ST in Multimode (62.5/125, 50/125) and Singlemode (9/125). Avalon APC fiber connectors polishes the fiber at
           either an 8 or 9 degrees angle with a radius of curvature between 5 and 12mm. Through angle polishing at the
           end of the fiber, one ensures that the reflection at the fiber air interface is not captured by the fiber core. This
           reduces the reflection level in the fiber optic system and reduces feedback problems.
